Sept. 02-2006 the 'Stang-Gang took their first road trip. This short, but fun, little trip was to the Bayou Country Store in Slidell LA. Click on their web site below for more information and directions....
They have a nice place out there and everyone had a good time.... we were a little upstaged by the Northshore Corvette Club...... but we don't need to talk about that!
We all had lunch at the Blue Bayou Cafe' and then walked around the unique country store which was full of interesting items, gifts and New Orleans souvenirs........ and let's not forget about the Pralines!

Mine is the shinny black one....... you may not notice it while it's parked next to Linda's convertible....... That "rag Top" really gets a lot of attention.......!

Here's more of the 'Stang Gang...... hanging out on the front porch of the Bayou Country store....... from left to right..... Ashley (future 'stang-ganger) , Mike (pit crew - just joking), Missy (blue pony package V-6) and Mendy (alloy metallic V-6)... everyone had a little too much to eat and maybe they shopped too much as well it looks like!
